SevenRooms Integration

Requirements:

Focus min Version 10.1.241206  
(This version has updates to the audit and tracking file that is used of updating reservations and check date to SevenRooms)

Interface usage and best practices

Focus will send up the start of every table/check to SevenRooms and SevenRooms uses their smart algorithm to map the seated reservation to the check.  In Focus using the package command 'Reservation' will allow you to see the mapped reservation if the check currently has a mapped reservation as well as see any seated reservations that are not yet mapped to a Focus Check.  This command also allows you to unmap a reservation if that mapping is incorrect as well as allows you to map the table to a reservation if that table does not have a mapped reservation.

The server is also able to review and print the reservation details from the Reservation screen for reference and information 

Setup:

After you have signed up with SevenRooms and they have provided the store and restaurant group authorization credentials you are now ready to setup Focus

Go into Setup

Miscellaneous > nFocus/OnlineOrdering/Mozart

Navigate to Reservations Tab

Active Integration = SevenRooms

Processing Station = Focus (or another station that is always running Focus OE not using setup switch)

Enter SevenRooms Credentials (Provided for each store and unique per store)

Venue ID
Venue Group ID
Client ID
Client Secret

How does it work and what functions are currently available

The integration will synch the Focus checks and data to Sevenrooms.  Sevenrooms using an algorithm to map the POS Check to the seated reservation.  Once that mapping is done they return Focus a reservation ID for reference on the POS.  

To view the mapped check in Sevenrooms, retrieve/access the reservation and scroll down to the 'Check Link' field.  This also will allow you to manually map a check or remove a mapped checks to a reservation if not mapped properly.  You are allowed to also map multiple checks to reservation (large group or multi-table reservation)

Make sure to map your Sevenrooms table to the appropriate Focus table number or the auto mapping of checks and reservations will not work

Once a Check is mapped and updated in Focus you can use the reservation command to pull up the reservation details

• Reservation Tags are shown - Focus is provided this info from the reservation query to Sevenrooms
• Quick Images for VIP, Birthday are shown on the header
• Print allows user to print the reservation information to the POS stations check printer (see sample)

• Unmap allows POS user to unlink the reservation from the check if improperly mapped
• Important Note - if a check is open on the POS when attempting to map we are unable to add that reservation to the check, we will continue on interval to map the reservation but the check cannot be in use for it to be mapped at the POS level
