The Focus & 7shifts integration supports sales and check level detail, clock in details and can also support Schedule validation and enforcement based on the 7shifts schedule and the Focus enforcement rules

Focus can sync (ADD ONLY)  new employees, jobs (roles) and Labor Groups (departments) to 7shifts through the mapping utility.  There is a limited amount of data and details though that Focus sends to 7shifts on the employee creation.

Setup and Configuration

Store MUST be signed up for 7shifts services (www.7shifts) prior to attempting to connect Focus to the 7shifts location.  

Install 7Shifts.RegEdit.reg (Attached) may need to run as Admin on the pc

Launch Focus
Access Setup  (Wrench Icon > Setup)
Miscellaneous > Integration Mapping

7shifts  > Connect 

Browser should automatically be activated and prompt for 7shifts sign-in for OAuth

Complete 7shifts sign-in and follow prompts

Open FocusPOS / Close browser when prompted/completed sign-in

7shifts Location mapping should appear, select desired location to map to for the current Focus store

Mapping:

We strongly suggest completing all mappings in the following order

1. Map all Departments to the Focus Labor Groups
   1. Departments can be added via Create link on Labor Group/Department mapping utility
      
2. Map all Roles to the Focus Jobs
   1. Roles can be added via the Create link on Jobs/Roles mapping utility
      
   2. Mark any ignored jobs accordingly as unmapped Jobs/Roles will not allow employees with unmapped roles to be mapped
3. Map All Employees 
   1. Employees can be added to 7shifts via the Create Employee option in the Employee mapping utility
   2. Select Employee to map and assign to the 7shifts employee
      
   3. Employee with unmapped Jobs/Roles will so alert in red along with field that is offending

Focus Schedule Enforcement Setup & Configuration

Focus job rules for early/late clock in/out rules can be enforced when using the 7shifts integration.  Employees with the Employee option 'Enforce Schedule' will force a call to 7shifts to verify the employees schedule shift is width in the current day and within the punch in/out window.  If not within the scheduling window or not scheduled to work the user will be alerted 

At which time a user/manager with the Job Right 'Approve Clocks' will be required to enter their code.  If the User has the right it will ask them to Clock In.

***If the store is offline or 7shifts is unreachable all clock in/out requests will be prompted for approval
