Runner Ticket

Introduced in Focus 10.1.24002 the Runner Ticket feature allows for the on demand printing of a remote ticket with the item/modifier details on an order.  

Use Case

The intended use case is for To-Go/Delivery order packing so items are not left off an order during the packing process.  This unique ticket can be requested on demand from any station and can either be printed locally or to a prep printer.  The print out is a prep ticket, the prep ticket format only will use the Header from the remote check format and the 'Runner' format for all header and items/mods on the ticket. 

Only items selected will print on the ticket, you may also create a menu item filter if desired to filter the selected item if you wish to ignore notes or specific items

Setup

Create a remote check format for the 'Runner Ticket' the header and items/mods will use the Runner Field format

Create a remote prep printer

• Define the port, controlling station and baud/ip
  • If you wish to have print at the current station use the 'Local Printer' option 
• Set the Format to 'Runner Ticket' for all order types

Package Setup

Command Select All (Not required but recommended)

Command:  Runner 

                    **Remote Printer = Runner Ticket   (may choose any printer)

                    **Menu Filter = Optional to filter selected items in print (<none> is unfiltered)
